This is who I am
I work at the intersection of Human–Computer Interaction, accessibility, evaluation, and inclusive digital systems.
My background combines academic research, long‑term teaching, and professional practice, including government and various corporations. Across these contexts, my focus has remained consistent:
I am curious about people, how they understand and interact with complex interactive systems.
My observations are used to create and enhance digital solutions to meet users’ needs, but also to understand where systems fail.
Rather than treating accessibility or usability as isolated disciplines, I approach them as complementary frameworks to guide design decisions grounded in real-world constraints: cognitive, organizational, technical, and social.
My work bridges academic research and industry practice, translating complex human factors into concrete design guidance that teams can apply at scale. I focus on making inclusive design actionable, not aspirational, especially in systems shaped by automation, AI, and institutional complexity.
I help product teams observe their existing product solutions and development processes with an eye on both user and business needs. This observation activity reveals strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement, providing a clear foundation for informed design decisions. My goal is to bridge the gap between design, accessibility, and technology.
I co‑authored the SAP Accessibility Design Tools,(2nd ed., 2025), supporting accessibility at enterprise design scale.
I also offer free coaching sessions via the ADP platform, focused on accessibility, evaluation, and inclusive practice. View availability on ADP List. it’s free and platform‑mediated gn, strategy, and inclusive experiences.
